"Duck Pork Foie" Dinner (Downtown SJ)
Downtown San Jose is littered with chefs craving to give you more than their standard fare.
Hosted in an undisclosed location, a chef from a new local restaurants sets out to please your palate.

Riesling Poached Foie & Cognac Torchon with mache, brioche, & marmalade gastrique Wine Pairing: Chateau St Michelle Riesling
Crispy Fingerlings with foie & rosemary cream pudding and fleur de sel Wine Pairing: Elderflower and sparkling wine cocktail
Pan Seared Foie & Slow Roasted Pork Belly with ranier cherries, frisee, & pan au lait Wine Pairing: Sauternes
Duck 3 Ways: leg confit, pan seared breast, & foie demi glace with potato mousse & english peas Wine Pairing: Echelon pinot noir
"ice cream cone" blood orange mousse with brandied foie gras "sprinkles" Wine Pairing: Grand Marnier
Reservations are $90 (tax and tip inclusive) but bring cash for drinks/pairings.
These intimate foie dinners will revolve through the month, each week with a different chef from your local restaurants.
Dishcrawlers will rate each dish, and at the end of the month, the chef with the best foie dish will be announced.
Protestors, 5% of the proceeds will go to CHEFS, the Coalition for Humane and Ethical Farming. Please, let us enjoy our moments left alone with our soon to be banned deliciousness.
